At present, CJSC Altai Machine-Building Company manufactures almost the entire product line of pipeline elements of medium (PN under 10.0 MPa, Тmax under 450°C) and high parameters (Pp under 37.3 MPa, Тmax under 560°C) for thermal power plants.

Laboratory

Our Company operates the certified factory laboratory. All the materials and accessories used for manufacture are subject to incoming and operational inspection. NDT laboratory functions within the frames of the factory laboratory. It is certified to carry out visual examination, check of dimensions, ultrasonic check, changeable pressure test, dye-penetrant test and radiographic test. All casted and welded valve bodies and essential removable parts are subject to full volume NDT.

Our factory is equipped with numerous universal machines. The parts are pre-machined in lathe, milling, moulding and boring shops. Use of CNC machines is a perspective direction of development of our manufacture. CNC codes are developed in ADEM integrated system. This software allows for efficient design and engineering of pre-production, as well as shortening of due dates and increase in task performance of any complexity.

Welding Shop

CJSC Altai Machine-Building Company operates the automated robotic welding and building-up welding unit using FANUK robot and Fronius welding technology, as well as flux welding column for manufacture of casted and welded, forged and welded valve bodies. Integration of this equipment into the manufacturing process has allowed for automation of the welding shop, increase in performance, and maintaining of high quality welding and building-up welding.

Casting Shop

Casting is performed under electroslag remelting technology. This allows for manufacture of the ultimate-quality metals that are free from admixtures and low in sulfur and phosphorus content.
Casting and crystallization are performed under centrifugal casting technology and allows for casting of high-durable and resistant metals without any external or internal defects, shells, non-metal inclusions or slag. Quality and characteristics of such castings are highly competitive to those of pressed metal components.
